How I Found Out About Beers for Books
The leaders of the Room to Read Tokyo chapter asked me to think of something that people can do to raise money that would be a) simple b) fun c) something that anyone can do anywhere, so I combined two of my passions, books and beers, to come up with the Beers for Books concept.

thanks, Gary. I'll check out jibiiru.com. Yes, I plan on attending the 12/12 event. I agree that it would not be wise to attend and then go to a bonenkai because the line up of beers almost dictates that one try every one of them.

Thanks, Gary. I mentioned B4B and the Ning shared-interest goup platform to the leader of BEERS, Tim. He says he's in touch with you on maybe doing something jointly. I reckon the conversation will include setting up a site for BEERS. Great way to engender a sense of community.

How much work was it to set up the website? I am a member of BEERS (Beer Education, Enjoyment and Research Society) and am thinking it might be more efficient for our leader to manage meetings, new etc by using the Ning platform.
